Introduction
Jonathan Mathews, better known online as rvckedup, has built a thriving career in social media marketing and brand promotions. What started as a sneaker reselling business during the COVID-19 pandemic has evolved into a global platform where he collaborates with major brands to showcase their latest products. With an impressive portfolio that includes Prime by Logan Paul and KSI, W by Jake Paul, and Polo Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Jonathan is proving to be a powerhouse in the influencer marketing space.
The Sneaker Rack: A Business Born from Passion
Jonathan’s journey into the social media world began during the COVID-19 pandemic when he started a sneaker reselling business called The Sneaker Rack. Selling some of the hottest and most in-demand shoes, he used social media to promote his business, eventually expanding to an online store and a storefront. However, as the world moved past the pandemic, the demand for high-end sneakers declined, and customers found it harder to afford premium footwear.
The Shift to Brand Promotions
During this transition, a clothing company reached out to Jonathan with a unique opportunity—they wanted him to pair their apparel with his sneaker inventory to help drive sales. This collaboration turned out to be a success, bringing in significant business for the clothing brand. Seeing the potential in promotional marketing, Jonathan pivoted from sneaker reselling to full-time brand promotion.
Working with Big Brands
Since making this shift, Jonathan has worked with both emerging and globally recognized brands. His engaging unboxings, product showcases, and promotional content have earned him collaborations with top companies, including:
- Prime by Logan Paul and KSI
- W by Jake Paul
- Fctry Lab by Omar Bailey
- Polo Ralph Lauren Fragrances
- Villon France Cognac
- And many more!
Through his content, Jonathan not only helps brands reach wider audiences but also introduces his followers to the latest and greatest products on the market.
The Present and Future: Expanding Influence
Currently, Jonathan continues to work with companies around the world, helping them showcase their products through engaging social media content. His passion for unboxings, reviews, and product promotions keeps him motivated to explore new opportunities in the influencer marketing space.
Looking ahead, Jonathan has ambitious goals for the future:
- Traveling for companies – Whether it’s for meet-and-greets, guest appearances, or promotional events, he wants to take his brand collaborations to new locations.
- Securing bigger brand deals – With his growing online presence, Jonathan aims to work with even more high-profile companies and expand his influence.
- Continuing to connect brands with consumers – By staying on top of trends and delivering authentic content, he hopes to help more businesses succeed in a competitive market
